Claremont and the towns next door.
Our home base is Claremont, ZIP 91711. From there dispatch covers the neighboring towns that sit along the foothill corridor and the Pomona Valley. Each town page covers its own water source, the ZIP codes we serve there and what homeowners in that town call about most.
La Verne lies directly west. Pomona is the larger city to the south and southwest, and Montclair sits southeast across the county line in San Bernardino County. If your town is not listed, call anyway. Dispatch will tell you whether a plumber can reach you.
How we think about distance.
Dispatch plans by driving, not by a radius on a map. Claremont is the starting point, and the nearby towns we list are the ones a plumber can reach realistically on an emergency call. The distances on each town page are estimates, and traffic on Foothill Boulevard or Interstate 10 can change them.
Two county lines matter here. Claremont, La Verne and Pomona are in Los Angeles County, while Montclair is in San Bernardino County. That changes which city offices and water providers apply, which is why each town page names the right ones.
Quick look at each town.
| Town. | ZIP codes. | Direction from Claremont. | County. |
|---|---|---|---|
| Claremont. | 91711. | Home base. | Los Angeles County. |
| La Verne. | 91750. | West, about 4 miles. | Los Angeles County. |
| Pomona. | 91766, 91767, 91768. | South and southwest, about 5 miles. | Los Angeles County. |
| Montclair. | 91763. | Southeast, about 5 miles. | San Bernardino County. |
La Verne, Pomona and Montclair each get a different water mix. La Verne blends its own groundwater with purchased supply, Pomona is mostly groundwater from two aquifers, and Montclair is served by Monte Vista Water District. If a plumber is quoting a water heater or softener, ask which water you have, because hardness changes the answer.
Places we mention but do not give their own page.
San Dimas sits next to La Verne, and the Cal Poly Pomona campus and the Phillips Ranch neighborhood sit in and around Pomona. Calls from these areas are handled through the nearest town page. If your address is on the edge of the area, call dispatch before assuming you are outside it.
What to expect when you call from any of these towns.
The process is the same everywhere. Dispatch asks what is happening, helps you make it safe, and lines up a licensed plumber for a same-day appointment when available. The emergency drain cleaning and leak detection pages show how those visits run in more detail.

Dispatch confirms coverage and lines up a plumber when one is available.
Local utilities worth knowing across the area.
Who supplies your water and who owns the sewer changes depending on the town, and that decides who to call first. In Claremont, Golden State Water Company serves the tap and the City of Claremont owns the public sewer main. In La Verne, the City's Water Division handles water and Public Works handles sewer overflows. In Pomona, the city's Water Resources department runs the system, and in Montclair it is Monte Vista Water District.
A plumber can fix what is on your side of the meter or the property line. For anything beyond it, such as a leak in the street or a main that serves the whole block, the utility or city is the right call, and dispatch will tell you when that is the case.
When your problem is bigger than one house.
If water is coming up in several homes on the block, or the street itself is wet, treat it as a utility problem first. Report it to the water provider for your town, then call dispatch if you also have water inside your own home.
Sewage backing up into a single home is different. That is usually the private lateral, and a licensed plumber can clear and inspect it. The sewer line cleaning page explains how that works, and the sewer inspection page covers the camera look that shows what caused it.
